Renewal Process of HYP2003 Digital Signature

HYP2003 Digital Signature is the most popular DSC in India. It is pre-integrated with almost all major government portals. GST, MCA, Trademark, eProcurement, eTender and many more government agencies recommend using HYP2003 DSC. As per the central rule, HYP2003 Digital Signature tokens are currently issued for up to 3 years. While applying DSC, the user has the option to select either 1 year, 2 years or 3 years validity. After the expiry of this period, the user can apply for DSC renewal. In this article, we will discuss the detailed process of HYP2003 DSC renewal
Benefits of HYP2003 Digital Signature Renewal
- Renewal DSC charge is less than new DSC.
- The user can use the existing Tokens instead of buying new.
- Sometimes, the central government make changes in the CSP version. The user can apply for an update if that option is available.
- Many sites accept renewal DSC without being reupload.
Documents Required for HYP2003 DSC Renewal
- Aadhar Verification: This process is again divided into two parts. In paperless verification, an Adhar otp is required along with other details like PAN, DOB, etc. Then, with authorization, DSC will be approved. In the second method, we use the Aadhar ZIP file for user verification. It is also a paperless process. It means no physical document is needed.
- Document Verification: In this process, we use a soft copy of applicants’ documents like ID proof, Address proof, etc., along with a passport-sized photo. During video verification, the applicant needs to read a given script, and then the DSC will be approved.
- Organisation Verification: There are several types of organisations, and the document process is a bit different for all of them. Basically, you have to provide the organisation’s registration document along with any government registration certificate. A valid GST certificate is desirable for easy approval. Else we can use bank statement or self certification.
- DSC without Video Verification: It is suitable for old people, patients and those who are unable to speak. Persons having ability to record video can take benefit of this process.
Customer awareness is hereby created to opt for more and more DSC renewals. It will be both convenient and economical for everyone. Both the end consumer and the DSC industry will get benefit from this process.
