DGFT Digital Signature Certificate is a special-purpose certificate. Generally, the DGFT office can only issue it. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) requires these certificates for businesses involved in import and export activities. Users choose the Class 2 certificate for basic authentication while accessing DGFT portals and signing applications. Certifying authorities issue this certificate after verifying identity through supporting documents. Users prefer the DGFT certificate for the renewal of the export-import code (IEC) license. Authorities issue this certificate only after completing user identity, IEC and video verification. Businesses use both types to digitally sign documents, submit license applications, and communicate securely with DGFT. These certificates help users reduce paperwork, speed up processes, and ensure compliance with legal standards. They also enhance the credibility of online transactions in foreign trade operations.

DGFT Digital Signature Certificate Price

DGFT DSC price starts from Rs 1711/- only. However, with higher validity, the price can go up to Rs 2950/-. For exact pricing, refer to the table below.

DGFT Digital Signature Certificate Documentation

For approval of the DGFT digital signature, we need the following documents.

  • Organisation PAN card (Individual’s PAN in case of proprietorship firm).
  • IEC license/certificate.
  • Applicant’s ID and Address proof.
  • Organisations Registration Documents.
  • Organisation’s GST or Bank Statement.

Please note that we may relax some documents as per the organisation type or on a case-by-case basis.

Application Process

To apply for this certificate, first fill out the application form. Select certificate type, validity period, applicant type, and whether you need a new USB token or not.  The price will vary according to the options the user selects. Then fill out the applicant’s name, mobile number and email ID field. The order note is an optional field for your reference. You may fill it in or skip it. Once all details are done, click on the ‘Add to cart’ button. Then go to the Cart or Checkout page to make the payment of the fee to complete the application.

Verification Process

After making payment of the application fee, the system will generate an order number. You will receive an email with the order number and verification link. Sometimes you might receive an email to submit documents copy as per the notification of the CCA department of the Government of India. Our executives will assist you in the verification process after submission of your documents. Therefore, you must provide the correct mobile number on the checkout page.

Download Process

Once the verification is done successfully, we will approve the application. After approval, you can download the certificate into a valid HYP2003 token or dongle. Watch the following tutorial video to learn how to download a certificate into the HYP2003 token.
